Plymouth Network update - 30th August

From 30th August, we are making some updates across our Plymouth network to help improve reliability, provide more consistent frequencies and better meet customer demand.

Service 5/5A
City Centre to Elburton
via Prince Rock, Plymstock Broadway and Stanborough Road
Sunday timetables will be revised to provide a more even service frequency throughout the day.

Service 8/9
City Centre to Efford
via Lipson Vale and Laira (Service 8), and Laira and Lipson Vale (Service 9)
Buses will once again serve Royal Parade.
Sunday timetables will be revised to provide more evenly spaced departures from Lipson Vale.

Service 14
Royal Parade to Derriford Hospital
via Devonport, Keyham, Ham and Derriford Hospital
Service 14 will now operate under the Plymouth Citybus.

Service 16/16A
City Centre to Kings Tamerton (16) and St Budeaux (16A)
via Plymouth Railway Station, Milehouse (for Home Park) and North Prospect
Sunday timetables will be revised, with additional journey time included to improve reliability.

Service 21/21A
Barne Barton to Plympton
via St Budeaux, Devonport (for Dockyard and Torpoint Ferry), City Centre, Prince Rock, Marsh Mills (for Retail Park) and Chaddlewood
A revised timetable will be introduced, with an additional bus in service to improve reliability.
Extra journeys will operate in both directions on Saturday mornings.

Service 28
Mayflower Street to George Junction
via Mutley, Henders Corner, Deer Park, Charfield Drive, Crownhill and Derriford Hospital
Buses will once again serve Royal Parade.

Service 33
City Centre to Keyham
via Plymouth Railway Station, Molesworth Road, St Levan Road and Ford
Timetables will be revised on all days of the week.
Additional journey time has been added to help improve reliability.

Service 35/35A
City Centre to Ham (Merrivale Road) (35) and Beacon Park Road (35A)
via Mutley, Peverell, Ham Green and North Prospect
Buses will once again serve Royal Parade.

Services 42, 42A and 42D
City Centre to Southway (42)
via Mutley, Mannamead, Crownhill and Derriford

City Centre to Tamerton Foliot (42A/42D)
via Southway
Timetables will be revised during weekday peak periods to improve punctuality and timekeeping.

Services 42B and 42C
City Centre to Woolwell (for George Park & Ride)
via Mutley, Mannamead, Crownhill, Derriford and George Park & Ride
Timetables will be revised during weekday peak periods to improve punctuality and timekeeping.
Additional early morning and late evening Sunday journeys between Woolwell and Derriford will be introduced to support hospital staff and visitors.

Service 43
City Centre to Ernesettle (43)
via Plymouth Railway Station, Milehouse (for Home Park), St Budeaux and Biggin Hill
Service 43A to Victoria Road will be withdrawn.
Service 43 will be retimed to maintain regular intervals alongside Service 51.

Service 61
City Centre to Transit Way
via Milehouse (for Park & Ride and Home Park), Honicknowle and West Park
Timetables will be revised on all days of the week.
Additional journey time has been included to improve reliability.
