Go-Ahead Group Named Britain's Most Admired Company

Go-Ahead Group wins transport sector for a second year in a row in Britain’s Most Admired 2022
LONDON, UK, Wednesday 29th March 2023 – Go-Ahead Group, the Newcastle-based passenger transport business, was today announced as Britain’s top travel company in the 2022 Britain’s Most Admired Companies study. Go-Ahead Group won seven out of the 13 voting criteria, including: Quality of Products & Services, Ability to Attract, Develop & Retain Top Talent, Capacity to Innovate, Quality of Marketing, Effective Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG), Effective Corporate Governance and Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
Established in 1990, Britain’s Most Admired Companies is the UK’s longest running annual survey of corporate reputation. The competition is unique in that the winners are voted by board representatives, analysts and City commentators.
Go-Ahead Group was placed 8th overall out of 259 leading British companies selected from 28 sectors.
National Express takes second place, followed by Ryanair in third. Other ‘most admired’ transport companies are Jet 2, FirstGroup, Virgin Atlantic, easyJet, International Airlines Group, Wizz Air Holdings and Arriva.
