Hours of work: SHIFT WORK, working 39 hours per week, shift pattern rotating, Days (6am – 2pm), Afternoons (2pm – 10pm), Nights (10pm – 6am), weekends included.
Salary: £24.61 per hour.

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and skilled We're looking for a motivated and reliable SHIFT FITTER to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our business by delivering high-quality work while supporting colleagues and providing excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- To maintain all vehicles to full DVSA and Company standards.
- To diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing and parts replacement in accordance with Company practice.
- To comply with all Health & Safety, Environmental and Company Policy & Procedures.
- To undertake repairs as instructed by the Supervisor/Manager.
- To carry out vehicle inspection, servicing and preparation to DVSA test standards and accurately record work carried out to meet requirements of the Company Operators Licence.
- To attend on - road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries.
- Cover alternative shift patterns as required to provide annual leave relief.
Role Requirements
- Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
- Reporting daily issues to the Assistant Engineering Manager.
- To carry out duties as reasonably requested by the management which are within the employee’s capabilities.
- Projects as required.
- Experience and ability to operate Engineering Systems.
- Ability to adapt to new and upgraded diagnostic and on-board information systems.

About You
- Has relevant qualification in a mechanical engineering role.
- A full PSV licence or capability of obtaining a full PSV licence
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Has good communication and organisational skills.
- Is reliable, flexible, and proactive.
- Takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
- Is willing to learn and undertake training where required.
