Then you may be eligible for a concessionary bus pass from Plymouth City Council. A concessionary bus pass allows you to travel across our network for free - from 9:30am - 11pm on week days and all weekend.

How do I know if I am eligible for a concessionary bus pass?

You are entitled to a concessionary bus pass if you were born before 6th April 1953 (women) or 6th April 1951 (men).

How can I apply?

When you apply, you will need to show proof of address, such as a utility bill, or your driving license. You will also need to show proof of age, such as a birth certificate, passport, or driving license. You will also have to provide your National Insurance Number.

How do I use by bus pass on the bus?

You can start using your concessionary bus pass as soon as you receive it. Just hold it against the ticket reader on the ticket machine, which is located next to the driver. If you have any questions when you board, your bus driver will be more than happy to help.
