In a moment of regal splendour at Buckingham Palace, Richard joined the Leadership team of City College Plymouth who were honoured to receive the esteemed Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Further and Higher Education. This prestigious accolade celebrated the College's dedication to advancing maritime skills, highlighting the transformative power of collaboration and community engagement. In his role as Chair of Governors at City College Plymouth, Richard takes pride in contributing to the empowerment of young individuals through education and skills development is evident, as he urges his colleagues to consider serving as governors to further support the community.

Richard's dedication to fostering wellbeing in the workplace garnered him recognition as the Most Inspirational Senior Leader of the Year at the Great British Workplace Wellbeing Awards Gala in London. Surrounded by luminaries from renowned companies, his commitment to creating a supportive work environment at Go South West was unmistakable.
