The Britain's Ocean City Half Marathon race will be taking place on Sunday 19th May 2019. As a result, Royal Parade and other roads across the route will be closed and some services will be on diversion. 

Services 21, 21A and 50: From Marsh Mills roundabout these services will divert via Laira and Lipson Vale to the City Centre. This will be from the first service in the morning until approximately 11.30am, when the road is expected to be reopened. 

The south-bound side of Royal Parade will be closed for the morning from the start of the day until approx. 9am. The following buses will be on diversion as a result: 

Service 5/5A: The 0805 and 0905 services towards Saltash will depart from the Union Street Pavillions stop and not Royal Parade. Lane closures are in place around Plymstock and one lane will be closed on Laira Bridge but services will still operate their normal route. 

Service 21A: The 0850 service from Royal Parade to Devonport will stop outside the Pavillions on Union Street and will not service Royal Parade.  

Service 34: The 0730 and 0830 services from Royal Parade will instead start from the Pavillions stop on Union Street and follow Union Street to Durnford Street. These services will not serve Millbay and will operate via Union Street until 0930. The 0640 inbound from Milehouse will not serve Millbay and instead will use Durnford Street/Union Street inbound. 

Service 50: The 0840 and 0910 departures will come into Western Approach as normal then depart from Wester Approach Car Park and will not serve Royal Parade. 

The following bus departures will all depart from the Western Approach Car Park bus stop and not Royal Parade: 

Service 11 at 0835 

Service 12 at 0735 

Service 43 at 0755; 0825 and 0855

Service 25 and Ocean City Sights will be suspended for the duration of the Half Marathon. The first service 25 bus to leave Royal Parade will be at 1425. The first Ocean City Sights bus to leave Royal Parade will be the 1415 service.
