Network Update

We are making changes to some of our services from 23rd February 2020.

Please see below for full information...

PR3 The PR3 service will be replaced by the 42 & 42C which will still provide 4 buses an hour from the George Park & Ride site to and from Derriford Hospital & William Prance Road (for the Range). This new and improved service will not end there but will offer a direct link to Royal Parade via Mutley Plain. Living at Woolwell or Mainstone? The 42C will now call into the Park & Ride site on the way to and from Woolwell and the 42 will continue from the George Park & Ride site on to Mainstone (ASDA) via Estover Industrial Estate. 

5/5A This service will receive some minor revisions throughout the day to improve reliability.

8/9 This service will receive some minor revisions throughout the day to improve reliability. Including a later departure from Royal Parade at 23.40.

16 This service will receive some minor revisions throughout the day to improve reliability.

20/20A This service will operate a revised route in Ivybridge from the Town Hall via Exeter Road, Cole lane where the bus will turn at the top of Cole Lane and return the same way. We will no longer be serving Harford Rd. 

23/24 This service will revert to the timetable pre-Charles Cross Roadworks and will see a departure every 10 minutes from Royal Parade. In the Evenings and on Sundays this service will serve the Viaduct (for the Barcode) direct to Royal Parade. 

27 This service will receive some minor revisions throughout the day due to the changes on the 28/28A.

28/28A Due to the forthcoming Forder Valley road closure the 28A will no longer be able to get to Asda & Mainstone following the existing route. The 28A will now continue to Crownhill where the service will terminate. Passengers from Eggbuckland wishing to travel to Asda & Mainstone will need to travel to Crownhill and transfer to the 42. We will also be introducing a 28S that will provide a morning and afternoon school journey to and from Eggbuckland to Tor Bridge High and from Mainstone to Eggbuckland School.

33 From Keyham and Ford, this service will be re routed via Cobourg Street, Charles Street and the Viaduct (for The Barcode) on its inbound journey. On the return journey the 33 will continue to serve Western Approach. 

34 This service will receive some minor revisions throughout the day to improve reliability. There will be some changes regarding Estover Industrial Estate in the afternoon where passengers may need to change at Derriford.

35/35A This service will receive some minor revisions throughout the day to improve reliability.

40/41 This service will receive some minor revisions throughout the day to improve reliability.

42/42A/42B/42C The main change (see PR3) is surrounding the 42/42C and the changes at the George P&R site plus the extension of the 42 to Mainstone. However, the 42A & B will receive some minor changes as a result of the other adjustments to the timetable. 

43 This service will receive some minor revisions throughout the day to improve reliability.

44 This service will receive some minor revisions throughout the day to improve reliability.

50/51 This service will receive some minor revisions throughout the day to improve reliability.

61/62 This service will receive some minor revisions throughout the day to improve reliability.

Bus Stop Changes

Following an agreement with Plymouth City Council and Stagecoach, as part of the changes for the 23 rd February the
following departure points will be changed for services on Royal Parade and Mutley Plain.

A18:27/A/B 28/A/B (Stagecoach 52)
A19: 42/A/B/C/D (No change)
A20:Stagecoach 1 and 36
A21:40/41/41A/44/44A


MUTLEY PLAIN:
M2: Services that departed M2 will now depart M3
M3: Services that departed M3 will now depart M2
