Go South West celebrates Charlie William-Burford’s outstanding win at the Cornwall Apprenticeship Awards 2025

Go South West is celebrating the fantastic achievement of Charlie William-Burford, who was named Apprentice of the Year – Business and Management at the prestigious Cornwall Apprenticeship Awards 2025. The high-profile event took place on Friday 7th February at the Eden Project, recognising the exceptional contributions of apprentices across 18 categories.

Hosted by Neil and Saffy from Hits Radio (Cornwall) Breakfast Show, the awards shone a spotlight on the dedication, skill and passion of apprentices from a variety of industries.

Beyond excelling in his role, Charlie has gone above and beyond, including volunteering his time at Boardmasters Festival and playing a key role in the much-loved Santa Bus, spreading festive joy to local communities. His enthusiasm and dedication have been truly inspiring and this award is a well-deserved recognition of his hard work.

Charlie’s achievement reflects the importance of apprenticeship programmes in nurturing future talent and supporting career growth.
