PLYMOUTH CITYBUS WARN OF MUTLEY PLAIN ROADWORK BUS STOP AND ROUTE CHANGE

Plymouth Citybus are warning passengers to be aware of changes to bus stop locations and a route change due to the major road works at Mutley Plain. From 22nd March for approximately 6 weeks, Plymouth Citybus services will continue to use Mutley Plain but all bus stops along Mutley Plain will not be in use.

   

 

CONCESSIONARY BUS TICKET DRAW TV WINNERS

Des and Marge Winters from Crownhill, Plymouth have won a new Digital Flat screen television after entering the Plymouth Citybus Concessionary Ticket draw. Over 1000 passengers aged over 60 who are eligible to travel free on the buses entered the draw.

MAJOR VEHICLE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT GAINED

A major contract to maintain the expanding vehicle fleet for Plymouth Community Homes has been won by the Plymouth Citybus owned Car and Commercial division.

   

 

BUS CO GAINS TRAINING AWARD

The managers responsible for training and staff development at Plymouth Citybus have received a finalist award from Go Skills, the Sector Skills Council for Public Transport.

1.4 million Spent on New Team Players!

Plymouth Citybus have invested £1.4 million into their fleet with the purchase of 11 new buses. The enviro E200’s have Euro 4.5 engines - a cleaner and more fuel efficient engine which is ahead of current legislation requirement. It makes Plymouth Citybus one of the most environmentally friendly bus fleets in the country.
